THE PROBLEM
No one wants a data center next door.
AI infrastructure is America’s fastest growing industry—and also its most contentious.
Communities across the country are blocking data center development citing energy costs, water consumption, noise, air pollution, and other negative impacts. Frustrated by the lack of transparency and shut out of decisions being made in their own backyards, people are demanding a seat at the table.
We’re helping industry, governments, and communities meet the moment.
WHAT WE BRING
A human-centered approach
At Tomorrow Partners, we co-create strategies, products, and experiences with the people whose lives they touch. And we’re applying this expertise to shaping a more inclusive, resilient AI future.
Our work is laying the foundation for AI infrastructure investments that deliver enduring value for individuals, communities, business, and the economy. We’re bridging the gap between data centers and the communities that host them through deep listening and genuine collaboration.
And we’re not starting from scratch. We’re leveraging lessons learned across mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, and government technology modernization to move quickly, scale effectively, and pilot projects in communities across the country.
WHO WE ARE
A team of doers
We are sustainability and human rights experts, designers, strategists, and doers dedicated to creating community-driven solutions that deliver lasting impact.
HOW WE WORK
Partnering with companies, governments, and communities
We address the big picture—facilitating relationships between data centers and communities—and drive smaller initiatives to help infrastructure projects deliver positive solutions for everyone.

- Multi-stakeholder co-design sessions
- Community benefit agreements: design, negotiation support, and review

- Complaints, grievance and remedy mechanisms as early-warning and trust-building tools
- Accountability structures and independent monitoring
- Standing platforms for transparency and two-way communication
